From 25 till 27 October we had our EndoConnect Kick-Off meeting in Groningen with great lectures by Pete Cullen (University of Bristol), Jörg Heeren (University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf), Jan Albert Kuivenhoven (University Medical Center Groningen), Judith Klumperman (University Medical Center Utrecht) and Kristiina Kanerva (University of Helsinki). The PhD students introduced their research in a pitch presentation and they followed training in communication, scientific integrity and data management. The meeting ended with a lecture about Women in Science by the Dean of the Medical Faculty of the University of Groningen, Marian Joëls.
